Today’s requirements for Headspace Analysis are so demanding that products must be tested and certified to ensure that they are free of contamination. These closures were developed using a system to control the level of volatiles in its products. This system is verified by the use of gas-chromatography, the results from which may be certified for higher purity grades. Products are then rated on our system at four different levels
– Typically headspace analysis septa must have extractable levels at or below 5ppb.
Closures that are certified for headspace analysis include a variety of crimp and screw caps including standard, pressure-release and magnetic using PTFE/silicone, butyl, PTFE/butyl or aluminum faced/silicone.
